Dates announced for upcoming events by the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Movement

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 19, 2018 – A number of events have been scheduled by the Labour Movement in St. Kitts and Nevis over the next few weeks.

The events organised jointly by the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades & Labour Union (SKNTLU) and the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) include the traditional public meetings, the 2018 Miss Labour Pageant, the Laying of the Wreaths at the graves of fallen heroes and stalwarts, the traditional Labour Day March, the 86th Annual Conference of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party and the Requiem Mass.

According to organisers, public meetings have been scheduled for April 29 at Upper Market Street in Central

Basseterre, May 3rd at Upper Monkey Hill, St. Peter’s and on May 6th in East Basseterre.

The mini-motorcade of the Miss Labour contestants is set for May 4th through the streets of Basseterre at 3 p.m..

The Annual Ms. Labour Queen Show will take place at Carnival Village on Saturday 5th May at 7:30 pm.

The Laying of the Wreaths will this year take place during the afternoon of Sunday 6th May.

The traditional Labour Day March on May 7th will be preceded by a healthily breakfast at the Patsy Allers Recreation Ground starting at 7 ‘o’ clock.

The 86th Annual Conference of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) is scheduled for Sunday May 20th May and the Requiem Mass on Sunday May 27th at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church at 4 p.m..
