Charlestown-Nevis-The Police are making it quite clear that persons violating traffic regulations, will not be tolerated.
There are specific areas designated as parking for Taxi Drivers only, in Charlestown and Taxi drivers have been indicating that such treasured spaces have been occupied frequently by other vehicle owners, without any punitive measures put in place.
Well, on Thursday 6th September, one driver of a rented vehicle, parked in a slot allocated for Taxi drivers and the Police coordinated with the designated Tow truck driver, to get it removed.
It certainly attracted a curious crowd but the message has been relayed in emphatic fashion and drivers are kindly asked to take warning.
