Flight Attendant Remanded To Prison

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, May 05 2016 – Deann Pat Portia Plummer, 33, a flight attendant was remanded to prison when she appeared in court Thursday on a number of drug related charges.

The St Lucian national has been charged with possession of five kilograms of cocaine, possession of 1.3 grams of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cocaine, trafficking cocaine, and the importation of cocaine.

Plummer was held at the Grantley Adams International Airport last month and interviewed by personnel from the Drug Squad.

She was subsequently referred to Customs and a search revealed five kilograms of cocaine in her handbag.
