On Friday 14th October, the Nevis Academy Football team, engaged their counterparts from the Montessori School, in a practice match at the Bath Village playing field.
Nevis Academy scored early in the first half and then again, toward the end of that half.
However, very early in the second half, Montessori hit the back of the net, off the boot of Skyla Connor.
The final score was 2 goals to 1 in favour of Nevis Academy.
However, the Montessori team is pointing out that their top player was absent, so they expect to do even better when the Primary school’s championship kicks off on Wednesday.
