Jerome Rawlins named the new CEO of Nevis Cultural and Development Foundation (NCDF)

As of May 2, 2017, Mr. Jerome Rawlins, has officially taken up the position as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nevis Cultural and Development Foundation (NCDF).

On March 2, 2017, the NCDF invited “dynamic individuals” to fill the post of Chief Executive Officer, CEO. The invitation came after the former CEO, Mr. Keith “Dis and Dat “Scarborough was transferred to the Premier’s Ministry as the Public Relations Officer.

Rawlins, who boast of playing six different instruments noted that he has worked very closely with culture in past years and was instrumental through another employer of getting funds donated to Culturama increased from EC$10,000.00 to EC$150,000.00.

Speaking with Nevispages on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, Rawlins said that part of his vision is to improve on what NCDF already has.

“The Foundation, as it stands, deals with the cultural aspect of Nevis, but what I am trying to bring to the table is more visibility to the foundation, more viability to the foundation, and to make it an organization that is self sustainable,” he said.

The new CEO will have full authority to manage and direct the business and affairs of the Nevis Cultural and Development Foundation.
