NABA TO HOST BASKETBALL CAMP

The Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (NABA), will be hosting a Summer Basketball camp for youths ranging from 5 to 16 years of age from August 22nd to 26th.

The camp will be held at the Grell Hull –Stevens Netball Complex.

According to NABA ‘S president, Wanda Parry, this year the camp will run for the entire day and not part of the day as has been the case for previous years.

This year the camp will run from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.

Interested persons can register at the Youth and Sports Department or with Miss Parry or any other member of the NABA executive.

Registration fee is a mere $10.00 EC per child and a uniform and lunch on a daily basis, will be provided for the children.

Additionally, from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm coaching sessions will be held for players in the under 21 and under 25 categories at the same venue.

A group of coaches from overseas will unite with local coaches to facilitate the sessions.

NABA will also be hosting an under 21 Parish league, immediately after the Malcolm Guishard Basketball league concludes.

In October, there will be an under 25 tournament in St.Kitts. Nevis intends to send a representative team.

In December, there will be a seniors’ tournament in St. Maarten as well.
