St Kitts and Nevis: This afternoon, Ms. National Bank Ltd Shamarley Newton was crowned as the new Miss Culture Queen for 2022 to 2023.
The ceremony was held at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park and was attended by officials from the Ministry of Culture, the Culturama Secretariat, a representative from the Senior Pageants sub-committee, the mother and chaperon of the incoming Miss Culture, title sponsor of the Culturama 48 Miss Culture Queen Pageant – The Bank of Nevis Ltd and a representative from the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Ltd.
Chairman of the Nevis Culturama Committee, Abonaty Liburd, chaired the brief ceremony, while Keesha Jones, branch Manager of National Bank Nevis, sashed Ms. Newton. The Marketing Manager at the Bank of Nevis Ltd, Pheon Jones presented the winning trophy and a cheque of $4,000.00 while the Minister of Culture, Evelyn did the Coronation.
On Friday, September 30th, 2022 the outgoing Miss Culture Queen officially notified the Culturama Secretariat of her decision to relinquish the Culturama 48 Miss Culture Queen Pageant title thus paving the way for this afternoon’s ceremony.
About this weekend’s Coronation! In a delightful ceremony held at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park, Miss Shamarley Newtown was crowned the new Miss Culture Queen for 2022-2023.
The Culturama Committee held a brief inauguration ceremony on Friday, October 14th, 2022 at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park. Miss. Shamarley Newton was crowned as the new Queen for the Bank of Nevis Miss Culture Queen Pageant for 2022-2023.
The Marketing Officer at the Bank of Nevis Ltd, Phéon Jones, presented the winning trophy and a cheque of $4,000.00 while the Minister of Culture, the Honorable Eric Evelyn, did the Coronation.
Congratulations are in order for Miss. Shamarley Newton, the new Bank of Nevis Miss Culture Queen Pageant Winner for 2022-2023.
The St Kitts Nevis Anguilla Bank also posted an update regarding the event and stated that the Culturama Committee held an inauguration ceremony where Miss National Bank, Shamarley Newton, was crowned Miss Culture 2022-23.
Minister of Culture Eric Evelyn and the Branch Manager of the country, Keesha Jones, were a few of the persons in attendance to witness this special occasion.
