Charlestown, Nevis – The Single Parents’ Group, of the Social Services Department, which is coordinated by Mrs. Grace Manners, made yet another significant donation on Friday, May 15, 2020.
The brief ceremony took place in Cherry Gardens, at the home of Ms. Mazie Springette.
Such donations are made annually by the group and despite the ongoing COVID -19 pandemic, the group decided to stick with the commitment, nonetheless.
The gift package, which was graciously accepted by Ms. Springette’s daughter and Caretaker, Sophie Springette, included a supply of pampers for the beloved senior citizen.
The Single parents’ group continue to conduct fundraisers and solicit any help possible to make similar donations in order to assist persons in need, within the Nevisian community.
