Tuesday 16th November, 2015 (St. Kitts & Nevis) – The National Carnival Swimwear Pageant sub-committee and by extension The National Carnival Committee is excited to officially announce the contestants for this year’s Swimwear Pageant.
The main objective of the show is to empower women to be self-confident and strive to be their personal best. NNC believes that every woman should be “Confidently Beautiful”.
Chairperson of the Swimwear Pageant, Ms. Judy Dupont has indicated that this show is a new addition to the Carnival calendar, and it will add an exciting element to the St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival.
“My aim is not just to have six beautiful ladies display their physique, but also to give them a platform to showcase their personality and an opportunity to share with the public their different values of interest”, Ms. Dupont stated.
Judy further expressed that she is very pleased with the journey thus far and most importantly the friendships that have been developed with the contestants.
During the reign of the winner, the NNC will ensure that the contestant is given the tools to personally and professionally enrich others through their chosen platform to affect positive change.
Shanika Joshua is a proud mother of a 1 year old daughter. She is 20 years old and her hobbies are reading, listening to music, spending time with family and researching topics of interest.
Ms. Joshua is 5′ 6″ and hails from the sister Island of
Nevis but was raised in
Newtown, St. Kitts. She also enjoys eating hot dogs, watching golf and the colors pink and black.
20 year old Vanessa Destouche is from Stoney Grove on the sister Island of Nevis.
Her hobbies include reading and singing, but she also loves local football, eating lasagna and has a weak spot for the color blue.
She is 5′ 5″.

Beauty #3, Keelia English is 20 years old. Her hobbies include playing video games, listening to music, playing with her dog ‘Papi’ and baking.
Ms. English is also from the sister Island of Nevis, Cane Garden Estate. Additionally, Keelia loves Shrimps, netball and the color purple.
Royisha Demming is 20 years old. She is from The Alley, Sandy Point – St. Kitts, and is 5′ 4″.
Her hobbies include dancing, seeking adventure and modelling.
Ms. Demming also enjoys eating cook-up, football and the color royal blue.

Sidama Jones is 29 years old from Hanley’s Road, Nevis.
Sidama hobbies are reading, drawing and listening to music.
She also loves chocolate, lobster and fish, basketball and the colors blue and orange.
Ms. Jones is also a proud mother of a 4 year old daughter.
24 years of age, Alsanarda Hanley is a proud mother of a 1 year old daugher.
Her hobbies are dancing, drawing and reading.
Ms. Hanley is from The Gardens, Bay Road St. Kitts and loves ice cream, netball and the color cream.
