BASSETERRE, St. Kitts and Nevis — The highly anticipated Investment Gateway Summit 2026 (IGS) will return to St. Kitts and Nevis from June 17–20, 2026, marking its third staging with an expanding global footprint and growing international relevance.
Among the most notable developments ahead of this year’s summit is a surge in interest from Jordan and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region—underscoring the event’s rising prestige as a premier platform for investment dialogue.
Launched in 2024 under the leadership of Prime Minister Terrance M. Drew, the Investment Gateway Summit has rapidly evolved into one of the Caribbean’s most influential investment forums. Its immersive, high-level format—combining policy access with curated networking—distinguishes it from traditional conference models.
Over four days, participants will engage in panel discussions, sector-specific forums, cultural showcases, and the signature Prime Minister’s Gala Dinner. The summit is intentionally structured to move beyond conversation, fostering tangible investment outcomes and long-term partnerships.
A Platform That Continues to Evolve
Since its inaugural staging in 2024, IGS has steadily strengthened its position as a credible hub for global investment engagement. The 2025 edition, themed “Investment to Impact: Our Journey to a Sustainable Island State,” attracted a diverse cross-section of investors and developers, including strong participation from the Middle East, while reinforcing the Federation’s ambition to become the world’s first sustainable island state.
The 2026 edition represents a pivotal phase. While earlier editions focused on establishing credibility and scaling ambition, this year’s summit aims to demonstrate measurable impact—showing that a small-island platform can drive meaningful, lasting economic transformation.
Under the theme “Connect, Collaborate and Celebrate,” IGS 2026 will spotlight opportunities across priority sectors such as agriculture, tourism, renewable energy, real estate, healthcare, and technology.
A key highlight will be the introduction of biometric verification systems as part of the modernization of the Federation’s Citizenship by Investment Programme. Technical sessions will address digital identity, data protection, and operational efficiency—reflecting a strengthened commitment to transparency and global compliance standards.
Strengthening Ties with Jordan and the MENA Region
A defining trend heading into IGS 2026 is the deepening engagement with Jordan and the broader MENA region. Investors from these markets are increasingly focused on global mobility, portfolio diversification, and international access—objectives closely aligned with the investment opportunities offered by St. Kitts and Nevis.
This growing relationship was reinforced in October 2025, when Chairman Calvin St. Juste hosted a landmark engagement in Amman at the The Ritz-Carlton Amman. The event brought together a distinguished audience of investors, entrepreneurs, and immigration professionals from across Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Describing the connection between the two nations, Chairman St. Juste noted their shared values of community, stability, and global connectivity, emphasizing that “citizenship is not merely a legal status, but a relationship built on trust and shared vision.”
A major highlight of the Amman engagement was the introduction of a new Concierge Service—designed to redefine citizenship as a lifelong partnership. The service offers 24/7 support in financial planning, investment access, and lifestyle advisory, aligning with the expectations of high-net-worth individuals across the MENA region.
Additionally, the Chairman outlined key advancements within the Citizenship by Investment Programme since its transition to a statutory body in 2024, including the launch of the Saturn digital case management system, which enables real-time application tracking and improved processing efficiency.
A Global Investment Dialogue
As the Investment Gateway Summit continues to mature, it stands out as one of the Caribbean’s most strategic initiatives for sustained investment engagement—offering not just a forum for promotion, but a genuine platform for dialogue between policymakers and the global investor community.
With increasing participation from Jordan and the wider MENA region, IGS 2026 is poised to further strengthen St. Kitts and Nevis’ position as a globally connected, forward-thinking investment destination.
