Nevis to launch Phase 2 of the Nevis component of our Menstrual Health Education Project.

It was a truly special day as we joined the Department of Gender Affairs – Nevis to launch Phase 2 of the Nevis component of our Menstrual Health Education Project.

It was inspiring to stand alongside our partners— the Health Promotion Unit Nevis, UNICEF Eastern Caribbean, ACF SKN, the Department of Education – Nevis, the Department of Sports – Nevis, and WASH United— all dedicated to supporting menstrual health and well-being. This high-level commitment underscores the importance of a cross-sectoral, all-of-society approach to ensure that women and girls can achieve the best health possible.

A huge thank you to our wonderful speakers:

Hon. Jahnel Nisbett, Minister of Health, Gender Affairs and Social Empowerment, Nevis

Zahnela Claxton, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Sports and Library Services, Nevis

Finally, thank you to Jay Robinson (YogaBae Jay), our Project Assistant, for so energetically moderating the event.
